Dear Members and Friends,
As we kick-off our 52nd Year of the National Italian Invitational Golf Tournament for Charities, we want to remind you of the two main goals of our tournament. (1)To provide a fun filled, world class event for the members who have supported this tournament for the last 51 years; and (2)To raise money for the National Italian Charitable Trust so that we can continue our tradition of donating money to worthy charities and providing scholarships to deserving Italian American young men and women.
The 52nd annual will be a special event in many ways. Please trust that the Board of Directors will take care of the first goal. This year’s event will be the biggest, the best, the finest, the most elaborate and the most fun.
We need some help with the second goal. It is through the generosity and philanthropy of our members and other sponsors that we are able to make charitable contributions and provide scholarships. The National Italian Charitable Trust is successful because of cash sponsors, donors of goods and services, hole sponsors, and contributors to our auctions, raffles and skills contests. Last year we decided to expand the cash sponsorship opportunities.
The top level is our Saturday Banquet Sponsor for $10,000. This sponsor will receive a lot of thanks and accolades, and four full complimentary entries to the tournament, a $2900 value. The lowest sponsor level is the annual Web-Site Sponsor-$100. Your ad will be on our web-site for a year; last year our web site received over 300,000 hits. In between we offer Regular Sponsor-$200, Golf Hole Sponsor-$300, Star Sponsor-$400 and new sponsorships for Breakfast-$1500, Golf Cart-$1500 each, Lunches-$2000 each, and Friday Night Reception-$1500 each. All of these cash Sponsorships are detailed on the attached form.
We ask you to look into your hearts and your wallets and take advantage of one of these sponsorships. The National Italian Charitable Trust is a qualified 501(c)(3) charity. Make yourchecks payable to National Italian Charitable Trust.
These sponsorships are not limited to our members. In fact many of our sponsorships have come from companies, businesses and individuals that are not members, but just love our tournament and have supported it over the years. If you know someone who would be interested in a sponsorship, please pass this on.
